Leicestershire Squash

Leicestershire has a vibrant squash community with over 500 players from around 12 clubs and leisure centres.

Every year, hundreds of men and women (and even some juniors) take part in the county league competition that sees clubs enter teams across many divisions to play competitive matches with other clubs across the region.

We also have categorized county championships, summer business leagues, and a dedicated ladies league. For those looking for something different, we also have a new racketball league running alongside the squash leagues.

For those looking to improve their game we have a number of squash coaches throughout our region.

Elite Squash

Elite Squash in Leicestershire has been a part of the county's DNA for decades.

We currently have two players that play at international level and have a world ranking. George Parker (38) and Simon (JJ) Herbert (50). Both of these players started their careers as juniors in Leicestershire and worked their way up the rankings.

This year Leicestershire also had two players compete and do well in the world Masters Championships in Amsterdam.

Leicestershire also hosts national league matches as well as a number of exhibition matches with top ranked International players.
